The city of Valencia is the capital of the region of Valencia, which belongs to the Comunitat Valenciana, is one of the sunniest, warmest, and indeed most beautiful of Mediterranean cities. With a population of one million inhabitants, it is the third largest city in Spain. Most importantly. Valencia is considered one of the most important cities in Spain due to its population, economy, heritage, etc. Its landscape, and the Mediterranean coast, makes it a city with great ecological value, being the Albufera of Valencia one of the most important natural resources of the city.

The historic centre of the city is representative of the culture and history of the city. In it we can find the Miguelete, the Cathedral, the Towers of Serranos and Quart, the Silk Exchange (La Lonja – World Heritage by UNESCO | 1996). Valencia never ceases to surprise, from the former bed of the River Turia, which has now been converted into a delightful eleven kilometre long garden, to the visible traces of ancient civilizations that today peacefully coexist with modern bridges and stylish buildings. We are planning our social events in some of these beautiful locations, the City of Arts and Sciences, designed by Valencian architect Santiago Calatrava.

Its climate is characterized by being warm and temperate throughout the year, having an average annual temperature of 18.4ºC.

For centuries, Valencia has preserved its traditions as part of its own culture.

Through these lovely excursions, we want you to get by yourself, the essence of our city and surroundings to discover its origins.

We have the pleasure of present three nice Valencian excursions, so that through the senses, you understand our land “La Terreta”.

Valencia through the senses:

1. Smell and Touch: Get to know our Valencian orange fields, their manual processes and the most ecological crops of our land. We are going to transport you through the smell of orange blossom, as a Valencian tile to 2 of our most iconic traditions.
2. Taste: Valencian wines are than particular as exclusive. It is not in vain that the Valencian designation of origin has positioned itself in a great place with a qualitative leap. To be able to appreciate them, a good tasting is essential. In this experience we will teach you how to identify textures, colors and flavors.
3. Sight and Hearing: Our wetlands and ecosystem surrounded by rice paddies (La Albufera) is unique in the world. Through a typically Valencian habitat we are going to show you the native fauna and flora so that you can be a privileged spectator of this beautiful natural park that is preserved in perfect conditions.

All excursions include food, with typical Valencian ingredients so that you can appreciate our diverse gastronomy.
